Overall, I can honestly say it was a really good experience. From the first consultation, I felt comfortable and listened to. The doctor was very professional, reassuring, and took the time to understand what I wanted from the surgery. One thing I really appreciated was that during the process he also removed some cysts that I hadn’t originally gone in for. The fact that he went above and beyond and took care of something extra like that meant a lot to me and really showed his level of care. The doctor and his team were amazing throughout our time in Cairo. They looked after us really well, were always supportive, and made the whole experience much easier. I’m really happy with my results so far, and I’m excited to see the final outcome as I continue healing. The only small improvements I would suggest would be to have the option to purchase the post-operative garment directly through the clinic, as that would make things more convenient for patients travelling abroad. But overall, I’m really happy with my experience and very grateful for the care I received from the doctor and his team. The team helped with flights and travel plans to Egypt removing all stress. Dr Ahmed is so kind, respectful, empathetic and explained everything clearly. All nurses at El Nada Hospital were excellent, delivering top standard care. I even got ongoing support after returning home. I’m overjoyed with my results. Highly recommended to all! From the very first consultation I had with Mr EL Gawad I just felt comfortable. Nothing was rushed or pressured. The consultations were lengthy and there were a few to attend starting off with a phone call. Then a video chat. Progressing to face to face then a second face to face. The procedure was explained in great detail including possible complications. Nothing was glorified. Down time was discussed. My personal frame and body size were taken into account and I was advised, guided and supported. The results were explained to me in a realistic way. I felt so supported and cared for. Discussing the parts of your body you’re most insecure about is a big thing. Mr EL Gawad isn’t only a very experienced surgeon he is also a very kind warm and genuine person. I was communicating throughout with the same lady called Rachel. She is lovely. Responsive and warm. Lovely speaking to the same person each time. Felt so personal. Nothing has been too much trouble. The aftercare has been amazing too. That was so important to me. Any questions were answered even if it was just for reassurance. One had two post op checks and will be seen again in around four months face to face. Although been told I can reach out any time if I feel I need to or have any questions. If you’re looking for an excellent surgeon with a supportive team I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Also I can’t believe how neat my incisions are. I have had two procedures with Me El Gaward, both procedures with great results , on meeting Mr El Gaward he put me at ease and made me feel comfortable, he is very easy to talk to and explains everything so well, my husband also came to my appointments and also had the same opinion,  and felt comfortable knowing he was doing my surgery . My scars from the surgery are excellent but that was due to following Mr El Gaward instructions for my after care , he was always there at the end of the phone if I was worried about anything , nothing was too much trouble . Great after care, I also have to mention Rachel who also goes above and beyond when booking your appointment and is also there to help on the telephone .
