Consultation in the UK
Your in-person consultation will be held in North West England with Mr El Gawad, a GMC-registered consultant plastic surgeon. During this meeting, a full medical assessment will be carried out and your suitability for surgery discussed. A proposed treatment plan will be outlined, including any associated costs. A deposit may be required if surgery is booked.
Travel to Cairo
If you choose to proceed, travel arrangements will be confirmed. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be transferred to your accommodation and provided with further details regarding your hospital admission and procedure.
Surgery
Your treatment will be carried out by Mr El Gawad at a clinic in Cairo. Some procedures may require an overnight stay in hospital depending on the type and extent of surgery. All aspects of the procedure, including post-operative care and recovery timelines, will be explained in advance.
Post-Operative Period in Cairo
During your recovery in Cairo, nursing support will be available as needed. The duration of your stay will depend on the nature of your surgery and your recovery progress. Patients will be discharged and transferred back to the airport once medically fit to travel.
